The Beginning...
In the French mountains, 2014 - sat on a picnic bench outside of a hotel and bathing in the majesty of the Alps, Chris and Dave would jam out some tunes and enjoy a glass or two of fine(ish) French vino. Good times were had, but at the end of that winter, they went their separate ways.
Fate had other ideas and on a balcony in Greece, 2 years later, The Wine Club was born. More booze than music this time, with wine-fueled busking sessions on the streets and harbor walls to entertain the locals and tourist alike.
Circumstances once again forced themselves upon the duo and they found themselves entertaining the guests of a local hotel on the beach. The sets grew longer each week, friends joined for songs, requests were taken, and the music played long into the night. They soon become the main draw for people to book a holiday to Vassiliki (probably).
Chris
The Wine Club was born in the French mountains - took a brief spell in Greece - before returning to its spiritual home in the Alps. Chris & Dave cut their teeth busking on the snowy streets of Morzine and perfoming regularly to packed houses at Cafe Chaud's open mic night, becoming a much celebrated warm up act to rouse the crowds before Monday's Punk Night.

Fresh & Local
That winter saw them return to France, and Morzine became their home as they took to the streets once more. A new side to The Wine Club emerged.
After starring in a local open mic night, they were encouraged to start writing some original material. Unaccustomed to this, they initially drew chords from a hat to write their music.
Things went downhill when they started to decide which chords to use in their songs without the aid of the hat, but they settled on mostly only using C, F and G because they're the main ones anyway,
and most of the other ones are hard to play.
During the pandemic, some remote band practice and an entry into The Morzine Music Awards, sparked the idea of an album. An LP From Morzine was born - to critical acclaim.
